Vivekabhāskaraḥ

An Educational Institute is best known by the amount of expansion it makes beyond the academic syllabus. RKMV University is yet a toddler dreaming to conquer mountains across the horizon. Swami Vivekananda wished for a University while he was in Belur Math. Eventually, propelled by his inspiration, the University was established on 4th July 2005. In the Universityʼs Belur main campus we have a strong and classy Sanskrit department. ʻVivekabhāskaraʼ is the name of our wall magazine. Vivekabhāskara started its journey on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda in 2015. This magazine provides the opportunity to the students to show their own merit through creative writing. They can publish stories, poems, slokas, novels, etc.. It also helps the students to increase their knowledge in Sanskrit language. The magazine is edited well before publication. This editing work too is done by students under the guidance of the faculty. Fresh and innovative writings are selected from the huge number of works submitted by the students of our department for publication. Our respected Vice-chancellor or any other respected guest inaugurates the magazine. The magazine is our pride and it upholds our creative geniuses, which is incessantly nurtured by revered monks and respected teachers and facilitators.
