Dr.Ganeshwar Nath Jha, Assistant Professor, Shree Ramsundar Sanskrit Vishva Vidya Pratishthana, Ramouli, Darbhanga, has kindly consented to deliver a series of lectures in Pāṇini’s grammar at the Department of Sanskrit & Philosophy, RKMVERI, Belur Math

Dr. Ganeshwar Nath Jha has specialized in Vyākaraṇaśāstra and has a doctoral degree in Vyākaraṇa from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Apart from grammar he has achieved excellence in Nyāya, Vedānta and other disciplines also. He has participated in several colloquiums and forums like Mahāgaṇapativākyārthasabhā, Śṛṅgerī where scholarship is put to test in the presence of colossal professors and stalwarts . Depth of knowledge and lucid style of presentation has earned him fame all over the nation. Besides scriptural knowledge he also specializes in techniques of imparting Sanskrit conversational skills to beginners. We extend a hearty welcome to the pandit.

Dr. Jha will expound the sūtra “Samarthaḥ Padavidhiḥ” (Aṣṭādhyāyī 2.1.1) in the light of different glosses on it. Bālamanoramā, Tattvabodhinī and Laghuśabdenduśekhara on the sūtra will be discussed line by line
