We are glad to announce a special programme titled Vedānāṃ Sāmavedo’smi, recital of selected hymns from Sāmaveda by traditional pandits. The first in the series will be in Kauthuma-śākhā rendered by Prof.Bhaskarnath Bhattacharya, Director, School of Vedic Studies, Rabindra Bharati, Kolkata, and Sri. N Kuvalaya Datta, teacher in Sāmaveda and Advaita Vedanta, Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Veda Pathashala, Avadhoota Datta Peetham, Mysore, Karnataka, from 20 to 27 April 2024. They will first give a brief introduction to the holy Sāmaveda and then recite selected portions. The recital will be interspersed with remarks on the nuances of Sāmagāna in simple Sanskrit.
