We are glad to announce the fourth in the series of International Workshops on ‘Close Reading of the Śāstras (śravaṇa-manana)’. Definitions, dimensions and features of Kriyā in Pāṇinī’s grammar will be explained and examined by Dr. Ch. K. Padmanabham, Assistant Professor, Vyakarana Department, Central Sanskrit University, Sringeri. Dr. Padmanabham, an expert and erudite scholar in Pāṇinī’s grammar will discuss the topic in Sanskrit with insights from the texts Siddhānta-kaumudī, Bālamonaramā, Kāśikā, Prauḍhamanoramā, Laghuśabdenduśekhara, Bhūṣa-ṇasāra, Vākyapadīya, and Mahābhāṣya of Patañjali.
