We are glad to announce the third in the series of International Workshops on ‘Close Reading of the śāstras (śravaṇa-manana)’, currently conducted online. Sāṁkhya-kārikā of Iśvarakrr̥ ṣṇa will be discussed by Dr. Rakesh Das, Assistant Professor, Department of Sanskrit and Philosophy, RKMVERI, Belur Math. Dr. Das, a talented scholar, well versed in scriptures, and proficient in Pāṇini’s grammar, will explain in lucid Sanskrit, the text with insights from traditional glosses like Sāṅkhya-tattva-kaumudī of Vācaspati Miśra.
