Sumanta Chowdhury has completed hid PhD thesis in Bengali titled : “शब्दज्योत्स्नायाः वैयाकरणसिद्धान्तकौमुद्याश्च कारकप्रकरणान्तभागस्य तुलनात्मकम् अध्ययनम्” (A comparative Study of Sabdajyotsna and Viyakaranasiddhantakaumudi up to Karakaprakaranam), under the guidance of Dr. Gopikrishnan Reghu, Assistant Professor, Department of Sanskrit & Philosophy.
